How this works
1. Asks twitter for your list of friends
2. Fast search - Looks at your friends' bio and url to see if there is a Google+ profile or a gplus.to nickname
3. Slow Search - Pings http://gplus.to trying to find any accounts matching your friends twitter names. eg gplus.to/zdam
